 UTV Yamaha Wolverine X2

Yamaha has been a well-respected name in the outdoor recreation market for years. They’re famous for their Rhino line of UTV’s and while the Rhino isn’t in production anymore the 2021 Wolverine is its spiritual successor. The 2021 Yamaha Wolverine X2 is a culmination of everything Yamaha has to offer in the UTV market and it’s everything an off-road enthusiast dreams of, extreme performance, capability, versatility, and durability.

With the name, “Wolverine” one would assume the Yamaha Wolverine X2 is an absolute monster, and you’d be right. The Wolverine’s 999cc DOHC, eight-valve engine screams to an impressive 8,500 rpm redline, with 109 horsepower pushing it down the trail. Yamaha’s driveline is top of the line and responsive. Yamaha is proud of their Ultramatic transmission boasting the UTV industry’s only 10-year-belt warranty--that’s something to be proud of.

The Wolverine X2’s drivetrain has an on-demand 4WD and like most capable UTVs a full diff-lock mode when the terrain gets rough. The suspension is fine-tuned with a quality ride while not sacrificing performance on the trails.

If you’re considering modifying your Wolverine X2, upgrading your lighting is one of the easiest modifications you can make that can drastically improve the quality of your UTV. A great example of this is adding D7 LED lights to your Wolverine X2 front grille as auxiliary headlights. These lights make perfect provisionary headlights because they’re the brightest LED lights DENALI offers. Since they’re auxiliary lights they can easily be removed or relocated depending on your application.

Adding a Dryseal switch to your Yamaha Wolverine will allow you to run an LED light bar for maximum visibility during late-night driving. The Dryseal waterproof switch is perfect for UTVs because it’s designed to remain functional in the harshest conditions, remaining functionally even after being completely submerged in water. More importantly, it can be combined with most DENALI products.

If you’re trying to increase the visibility of your UTV consider adding DRL Visibility Pods, they make great interiorly mounted lights for those who are out on the trails all night. They can be mounted just about anywhere there’s space for them both on the interior and exterior. Available in amber if you’re looking to add them as daytime running lights.

When hitting the trails in your Yamaha Wolverine X2 make sure you choose LED lights that keep up with your lifestyle. DENALI has a wide selection of LED lights for any situation or location, built for the toughest lifestyle. They also have an impressive selection of mounting options for electrical accessories so fit is never an issue no matter the application.
