    Suzuki V-Strom Lighting & Accessories

Suzuki’s big-displacement V-Strom 1000, recently upgraded to 1050, is one of those quiet stalwarts in adventure motorcycling. Rarely as flashy as the latest BMW, never as stylistically outspoken as the KTM of the month, the V-Strom nevertheless has scores of fans, a certain low-key star personality, and staying power. First introduced in 2002, using a then-innovative V-twin engine that arrived in 1998, the bigger V-Strom has many fans and has outlasted models from dozens of manufacturers.

Suzuki did a massive revamp for the 2014 model year, and another for 2020—and DENALI covers them all. The latest V-Strom 1000, called the 1050, gets all the modern electronics, including ride by wire, cruise control, multi-mode traction control and ABS, as well as LED lighting. (Halogen lighting looks to be going the way of the vacuum tube.) All of which make the V-Strom 1000 a better adventure tourer, typically with the emphasis on touring. With that in mind, you’ll want to upgrade your V-Strom’s lighting for better visibility on the road and more confidence when you’re at the end of that 700-mile day, in the dark and in the rain. DENALI has you covered.

Suzuki’s latest LED motorcycle headlights work well, but DENALI’s additions really make a difference. Not only have we crafted light kits, horns, and mounts to fully outfit the V-Strom 1000 and 1050, DENALI offers the option of the stunning D7 light kit, which has a total of 14 Cree LEDs putting out more than 15,000 lumens make the darkest night seem like mid day. And the D7 isn’t just all flash. With plug-and-play DataDim technology, it’s possible to select high and low intensities easily, and even upgrade after installation, and the DrySeal harnesses have watertight connectors to keep electrical troubles at bay. LiveActive thermal management makes all DENALI lights longer lasting and, even better, they maintain their brightness on the hottest days, something not all the competition can claim.

If you have the V-Strom 1000 generation from 2014 to 2019, DENALI has both frame-mounted Light Mounts and a custom SoundBomb horn mount, as well as various Bar Clamp mounts that are suitable for the latest 1050 as well. With a versatile clamp mount, you can put your choice of DENALI LED driving light anywhere there’s an appropriately sized tube, like an engine crash guard or fork tube. All together, DENALI’s LED lighting choices for the big V-Strom—from the D7 and four-LED D4, to the DR1, DM and D2 auxiliary lights—put a strong shine on a motorcycle that’s been quietly rocking the adventure touring world for 20 years.
