Kawasaki KLX250

Kawasaki replaced its previous KLR250 dual-sport bike with the KLX250 in 2006. It was a good move. At that point, the KLR250 was admittedly a bit outdated, but more importantly it gave us the treat that is the KLX250.

They say a jack of all trades is a master of none, but the Kawasaki KLX250 can make you question that particular piece of wisdom. Weighing at just under 300 pounds and equipped with a 249cc one-cylinder, four-stroke engine, the KLX250 takes you wherever you need to go through both off-road trails and paved streets.

The bike’s ample ground clearance and long suspension travel means that you’ll be traversing rough terrain with ease. But at the same time, Kawasaki has achieved remarkable comfort when cruising paved twisties and urban streets. With a top speed of 85 mph, the KLX250 can even take you onto the highway.

But with such impressive versatility, you also have to be prepared for everything. With DENALI motorcycle lights and accessories, you can ensure you’ll ride safely and brightly lit wherever your travels take you.

The D7 LED Light Pods, available in both white and amber, make for perfect auxiliary driving lights for your KLX250. Their TriOptic™ Lens System brings spot, flood, and hybrid lenses in one package. Shine an incredibly bright 15,000-lumen beam down the trail to light your path.

If you need equal performance but slightly less power, consider the D4 or S4 Light Pods. All of these lights feature DENALI’s DataDim™ Technology that allows you to control their intensity with your OEM high beam switch. The lights’ rugged housing also meshes well with the KLX250’s aggressive styling.

Mounting these lights couldn’t be easier with DENALI Articulating Bar Clamps. They will latch securely onto bars and tubes of any size due to their octagonal inner profile. The rotating mounting shelf allows you to angle the attached light pod any way you wish, either straight ahead or slightly to the side if you need ditch lighting.

The D2 Light Pods make for a compact, powerful option for handlebar lights on your KLX250. They’re just as easy to mount and provide you with bright spot lights that turn with your bars.

DENALI also has the back of your bike covered with the B6 Brake Light Pod. You can mount it both flush or on your license plate, and its bright red glow will alert anyone following you when you pump the brakes. For increased passive visibility, our offset-, flush-, and fender-mountable DRL Lights are an ideal solution.

In the case a distracted driver still manages to miss your shining bike, the DENALI SoundBomb Horn will wake them back to reality. Its 120-decibel roar is four times as loud as a regular motorcycle horn’s, so there’s no way any careless road user can miss that. The SoundBomb’s compact, blacked-out housing also means it won’t stick out like a sore thumb on your sleek, narrow KLX 250.

We know that nothing compares to the feeling of riding a bike that can go anywhere you please. That said, it gets even better when you know you’ll be safe if you decide to leave the pavement and hit the trail. That’s why we at DENALI make these accessories – so you can enjoy your KLX250 to the fullest without a care in the world.
